Welcome to Washington School! We are happy your family is here and look forward to getting to know you. Our mission is to enrich education and build community within the Washington School family. We hope the information contained within this website better enables you to understand and participate in PTO activities.

Please join the PTO through our website to be included in (PTO) activities, events and fundraisers we sponsor during the school year. If at any time you have any additional questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact the committee chairs or any member of the PTO board.

The PTO asks that all families become members of the PTO. Your support and participation are essential to the PTO mission. PTO Membership for the School year (August 1 - July 31) is open to all parents/guardians of current students for the low annual dues of just $25 per family.

Benefits:

• PTO meetings are open to everyone and are an excellent way to stay informed, however only paid PTO members may vote at meetings.
• PTO Membership includes access to our members-only online PTO Directory.
• PTO members are eligible to sign up as room parents for their children. Because PTO funds are used for field trips, it is mandatory that parents attending those functions be PTO members.
• Once you are a member, there are various committees for which you can volunteer and participate. The PTO coordinates and sponsors numerous events and programs throughout the school year, in addition to purchasing many items that enhance the educational curriculum as well as the building itself. We hope you will consider lending your time, talent, and creativity to the PTO!
